It all started back in 0ctober 2003. My first car had been stolen, and I was looking for something different. I was directed quickly to a 1992 S10 that was 3 different shades of red. When I bought my first truck, I learned very quickly that it was going to cost me a lot of money, after 2 computers, a starter and a fuel pump, I was on my way.
I’d been friends with Rob and Brad for many years, and met Dave through Rob and his dealing with local car clubs. I had some minor modifications to my truck, as some painted (burnt orange) dash pieces, a deck, and custom sub box courtesy of Extreme Audio. Once a member of LCC, the truck was quickly dropped 3” in the front and 4” in the back. The interior and the protruding rust quickly got more attention. The winter of 2005/2006 saw most of the exterior body panels tossed for new fenders, cab corners, rocker panels and a slightly used box, hood and wiper cowl. After hours of hard work, the truck was taken to Macco, for some finishing body work and a new colour, Cherry Metallic. After the show season of 06. The truck went back into the garage for more body work. This time it was a new floor for the cab. After a crazy show season and winning my first award, the truck went back into the garage in 07 to get a little lower. The front was bagged using the AAC front bag set up, 2 viair 480’s from Suicidedoors, and 4 3/8 SMC and a 12 gal tank from streetnshow.com. The front is lower now…the rear is coming soon.
